During this challenging time, the utilization of technology to change previous processes has been fascinating to see. One area where ControlTek has seen a major change is in meeting our quality and regulatory requirements.
External Audits
ControlTek supports the design and manufacture of many regulated products in multiple industries. We are typically audited on a quarterly basis from both Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and TUV/ETL.
Longtime ControlTek partner Morpac Industries’ line of motor control operators are used by the U.S. Navy to remotely open and close valves and vents on Navy ships. These products have been in use for the past 25 years. Morpac and ControlTek worked together to develop the initial design, and ControlTek continues to produce the motor control boards at our Vancouver, Washington facility today.
As a supplier of medical electronics, ControlTek is working closely with medical customers to quickly ramp up production of critical care medical devices.
Maxtec Oxygen Analyzers
ControlTek's partner and essential business, Maxtec, is one of just a few U.S. makers of medical oxygen sensors and oxygen analyzers used in hospitals around the globe. Maxtec has been a leader in oxygen analysis and delivery for over 20 years.
As a manufacturer of electronic medical devices and military electronics, ControlTek is directly supporting the fight against COVID-19 worldwide. ControlTek has been designated a critical supplier of medical and military products by the Washington Military Department, Emergency Management Division (EMD). We plan to maintain production levels to support our customers throughout the COVID-19 crisis.
